About the Archives

The Wesleyan College Archives holds materials pertaining to the history of Wesleyan College. These materials include items from events; records of faculty, staff, and students; administrative records; scrapbooks; audio-visual material; and photographs. Our Digital Collections, housed in the Publications Exhibit, include yearbooks, alumnae magazines, literary magazines, student newspapers, and course catalogs. The Wesleyan College Archives is open everyone in the Wesleyan College community, as well as the general public. The Archives are open by appointment Monday - Friday 9:00am-4:00pm and subject to the availability of the Archivist. Willet Library and the Wesleyan College Archives are closed Saturday - Sunday. We ask that you email at least one week ahead of when you plan to visit. Appointments are required for both research and visiting the gallery space.

Visit Us

The Wesleyan College Archives is located on the 3rd floor of Willet Library. Wesleyan College is located at 4760 Forsyth Road, Macon, GA 31210. You can find a campus map and driving directions using the links below.

When you arrive, you will be asked to put all bags, coats, and other personal belongings in a locker located outside of the reading room. Entering the reading room, you will sign in at the desk and fill out a researcher registration form. All researchers, including Wesleyan students, faculty, and staff, must fill out a new form every academic year.
